What a close final with only $20 separating three of the four finalists on the final leaderboard in the 2019 Cumberland Country Club Handiskins Final. Sanndro Timeus and Steven Matthew were inseperable at the top with equal prizemoney and were crowned joint champions for 2019, edging out both finished with $380 each with Darren Stocks on $20 back winning $360 and Peter Blade on $80. The game was played in great spirit between these four finalists and all four are looking forward to the National Championships at RACV Royal Pines next year.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $1200 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:
1. Sandro Timmeus & Steven Matthew - $380 each
3. Darren Stocks - $360
4. Peter Blade $80
National Finalists
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Final at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
