What a thrilling start to 2025 it has been for Handiskins! Across the country, clubs have been buzzing with excitement as golfers battled it out for glory and a share of the fantastic prize money. We've seen some incredible golf, nail-biting finishes, and plenty of happy finalists. Let's take a swing around the clubs and catch up on the action from the Handiskins finals held so far this year.

  • Gainsborough Greens Golf Club Shines Through the Rain

    The $1,000 Handiskins Final at Gainsborough Greens Golf Club on Saturday, 24th May 2025, was a testament to the players' dedication. Despite challenging weather conditions that plagued much of their 2025 competition, the A-grade finalists put on a great show. It was a narrow victory for Paul Ellis, who clinched the win with $360. Close behind was plus 4 golfer Sam Bracken with $320, followed by Christian Yates ($250) and Keith Jenner ($70). Congratulations to all four finalists!   • Close Contest at Lakelands Golf Club
    Lakelands Golf Club 2025 Handiskins Finalists
    Over at Lakelands Golf Club (The home of Handiskins Championship Week), the $600 Handiskins Final on Wednesday, 21st May 2025, was a tightly contested affair. All four finalists enjoyed a fantastic day on the course, with very little separating them in the end. Low marker Ian Frost emerged victorious, taking home $192.50. Toby Palham and Richard O'Donnell both secured $152.50, while Lachlan Powell walked away with $102.50.   • Double Delight at McLeod Country Club
    McLeod Golf Club 2025 Handiskins Finalists
    The $1,000 Handiskins Final at McLeod Country Club on Saturday, 17th May 2025, saw two champions crowned! Kyle Fairweather and Tim Deakin both played exceptionally well, finishing tied at the top and each winning $320. Oliver Bradshaw took home $230, and Graham Fairweather secured $130.     Gosford Golf Club 2025 Handiskins Finalists
    It was a dramatic finish at Gosford Golf Club for their $1,200 Handiskins Final on Saturday, 17th May 2025. Jack Dicker was the star of the show, winning a crucial $240 jackpot on the very last hole to seal his victory with a total of $480! Phil Johnson was next with $380, followed by Jack Tabone with $340, while Brian Rand unfortunately missed out on the cash this time.     The $1,200 Handiskins Final at Queanbeyan Golf Club on Saturday, 12th April 2025, was a battle of the A-Graders. Four skilled players tested their mettle, with Ian Sommerville rising to the top to claim $540. Rob Baker earned $240, Mel Millar took home $220, and Michael Elliott secured $200.     History was made at Howlong Golf Club on Wednesday, 9th April, with their first-ever $600 Ladies Handiskins Competition! And what a debut it was, with a thrillingly close final. Margo Northey made a brilliant late charge to become the highest money winner with $230. Angela O'Shaughnessy was hot on her heels with $180, followed by Kate Kinlyside with $100, and Barb Moore rounding out the fantastic four.   • Fraser Conquers Conditions at Balgowlah Golf Club
    Balgowlah Golf Club 2025 Handiskins Finalists
    The elements couldn't dampen the spirits or the quality of golf at Balgowlah Golf Club for their $1,200 Handiskins Final on Sunday, 30th March 2025. Battling rain and wind, the four finalists showcased some excellent play. Todd Fraser came out on top, thanks to a crucial jackpot on the 16th Hole, giving him a winning total of $515.     The $1,200 Handiskins Final at Everglades Country Club on Wednesday, 19th February 2025, was a great success, with every finalist taking home a slice of the prize money.     Massey Park Golf Club saw a dominant performance in their $1,000 Handiskins Final on Saturday, 22nd February 2025. Matthew Pirrottina had a day to remember, accumulating an impressive $722.50!     It was a big day at the office for Luke Tester during the $1,200 Handiskins Final at Rockingham Golf Club on Saturday, 22nd February 2025. Luke played some fantastic golf to win a substantial $695. Tommy Coyle was next with $295, followed by Roric Coleman with $155, and Terry Douglas with $55. Join Us for the 2026 Handiskins Championship Week!

A massive congratulations to all our club finalists so far in 2025! We hope to see many of you at the Handiskins Championship Week, set for Wednesday, 6th May to Sunday, 10th May 2026. This fantastic event will be held at Palm Meadows Golf Course and Lakelands Golf Club on the beautiful Gold Coast, with accommodation at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort.

Finalists will play for a National Title and a share of over $20,000 in prizes and giveaways!

Bookings for the above club finalists (and others wishing to join the fun - see below) are now open, and you can even pay your package off monthly. Head to the Handiskins 2026 Championship Week booking site to secure your spot. For other clubs, bookings will open soon, so keep an eye out!
