Handiskins Teams Competition

The Handiskins Teams Competition is an exciting addition to the Handiskins Championship Week on the Gold Coast and is scheduled to premiere in 2025. This exciting new event features squads of at least four players from the same club, competing for the Handiskins Championship Week team trophy and a $1,000 prize.

The competition features members from the prestigious Handiskins National Final, as well as contenders from the Peter Lehmann Golf Challenge and the Jarrod Lyle Memorial Trophy Pro Handiskins, ensuring a high-stakes battle among top-tier club players.

With club pride, teamwork, and precision all playing a role, this event promises to be a highlight of the Handiskins Championship Week.

Which team will rise to the challenge and claim victory?

Competition Format

Teams will face off in two qualifying rounds in their respective competitions, held on Thursday and Friday, where their performance will be tracked on the daily team leaderboard. Each squad builds a cumulative score over the two days, determined by a team average - the total score of all players each day divided by the number of players in the team. The club team with the highest combined total across both days will be crowned the winners.

In the event of a tie, the competition will be decided by a countback system:

1. Highest individual player score wins.
2. If still tied, the countback will move to the next highest individual score until a winner is determined.
