Around The Clubs – December 2025 Season Finale

The final month of the year saved some of the most dramatic moments for last. Mark McDougall produced the standout performance of the month at Oxley Golf Club, where he claimed a massive $860 win; one of the highest individual hauls of the entire season. Not far behind was Thomas Dewing at Griffith Golf Club, who used a significant jackpot hole to rocket to the top of the board with a $690 total.

Drama was the theme of the month, particularly at Northern Golf Club, where Daniel Freidman staged an incredible comeback by winning the final six holes to claim the title. Meanwhile, the competition reached new heights in Central Queensland with Rockhampton Golf Club hosting its first ever Handiskins final. While Brendan Milne snagged a huge $320 jackpot on the 18th, it was Andrew Winter who maintained the consistency to finish as the highest money winner.

From the squared front nine at Castle Hill Country Club, to the low marker masterclass by Mick Pankowski at Burleigh Golf Club, December has been a fitting end to a record-breaking year. We look forward to seeing all our December winners join the national field on the Gold Coast this May.

The 2025 Handiskins qualifying season has reached its conclusion with a month of high-stakes drama and incredible scoring. From the tropical fairways of Rockhampton to the technical greens of Northern Melbourne, our final cohort of qualifiers has been decided for the 2026 Championship Week.

Standout performances dominated the month, none more so than Mark McDougall's massive $860 victory at Oxley Golf Club, QLD.
